Dirk Hubers was born in 1913 in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, and died in 2003.

Extremely rare object by Dirk Hubers. The artist made a few of these lampshades (they were hung over a lamp attached to the wall) for a bar dancing in Bergen (NH) in 1949. After the place was torn down, all but one disappeared. This example survived in the artists' house in Bergen.
