Education
Dirk Hubers was born in 1913 in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. In 1936 he came into contact with some potters in Denmark and learned the basics of pottery. In 1939 he worked at 't Kruikje in Putten (Franz & Marguerite Wildenhain) for a few months.

Career
In 1940-1945 he lived and worked in Voorschoten untill starting his own studio in Bergen N.H. in 1945.
In 1956 he emigrated to the United States. Later on he moved to Mexico (Guanajuado).
